 Child Medical Support Allowance （乳幼児医療費助成） |

Medical Support Allowance is granted for family in Marugame raising children who are under 6 years old who joins health insurance. If you take your child to see a doctor in Marugame, please show the certificate of medical support allowance and insurance card for free of medical charge. When you go to a clinic in other city or town, please pay medical charge first and send in a certificate of payment issued by the clinic to the city hall. Then the city hall will transfer the medical charge to your account. |

Allowance is granted for family raising children under the age of third grade of elementary school. 5,000 yen for per month for first child and second child and 10,000 yen for per month for third child. |
| Child Support Allowance for Mother-Child Family （児童扶養手当） |

A mother-child family can be given child support allowance. If a child is in a child welfare institution, this case is not applicable to this welfare service. |
| Welfare Grant for Single Parent Family （遺児年金） |
|
Welfare grant for single parent family can be given to child of a single-parent family. However the family has to live in Marugame more than a year. |
| Special Child Support Allowance （特別児童扶養手当） |
|
A family raising a mentally or physically handicapped child under the age of 20 can receive a special child support allowance. |
| Counseling for Child Raring and Women （家庭児童相談及び女性相談） |

If you have a problem in child raring or in your domestic life, you can consult a counselor. Please contact Children's Welfare Section (Jido-Ka: Phone 0877-23-2201). The counseling hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. |
