 Registration and Vaccination （登録と狂犬病予防注射） |

Anyone who has a dog over 91 days old is under an obligation to have it registered and vaccinated against rabies. Rabies shot will be given in April and May every year. (If your dog is registered at Marugame City, you will receive a notification of vaccination beforehand.) If you miss the chance to have your dog vaccinated in April or May, please go to veterinary clinics instead.

If you want to ask Marugame City to collect carcass of your pet, you have to pay 400 yen per animal. In case if you carry carcass to "Clean Topia Marugame (refuse disposal facility plant)" by yourself, it is free of charge. Collecting carcass of stray dogs and stray cats by Marugame City is free of charge, too. Consult Cleaning Section (Clean-Ka: 0877-58-7453) or Community Service Section (Shimin Seikatsu-Ka) of Ayauta or Hanzan Branch Office.

| Financial Aid for Castration of Cats and Dogs （犬及び猫の不妊・去勢手術費補助制度） |

If you have your animal companion castrated, you can apply for financial aid. Necessary conditions for the application are:
・The owner of dog or cat lives in Marugame and have his/her animal companion in Marugame.
・Your animal companion should have an operation at a veterinary clinic in Marugame.
・If you have a dog, it should be registered at Marugame City and have rabies shot.
Marugame City can aid you financially to the extent of: 5,000 yen for dogs / 3,000yen for cats
(within two animal companions in one family for a year)
When you apply for this financial aid, please bring:
・Receipt issued by a veterinary clinic to show that your animal companion had an operation
・Your seal
・Your bankbook or cash card
