How to Request the Collection of Large Size Garbage
（収集申し込み方法）
(1) Call 0877-58-7455 and notify your name, address, telephone number, types and the number of items.
(2) Please make a phone call from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
(3) Then you will be notified the amount of collection fee and collection date.
(4) Please purchase designated stickers worth the collection fee at designated store.
(5) Write down the collection date into the stickers and stick them to the items. On the collection day, put the items out of your house where the collection car can come in.
Steels (bicycle, motorbike and tricycle etc.)
Furniture (wardrobe and bed etc.)
Home appliances (microwave, electric fan and stereo etc.)
Recyclable home appliances (TV, air conditioner, washing machine and fridge) are supposed to be unacceptable by Marugame City. You need to ask a retail shop to take it back. In case if you bought these items at the store very far from your house or the store closed a business, please consult the city hall.
・ Please take wooden furniture to pieces and put them into the plastic bag as a burnable waste.
・Agricultural machines are not acceptable as large size garbage.
・Items without appropriate stickers are not accepted. |

| Please post or write in hiragana or alphabet " でんち" or " DENCHI" and put them out with recyclable garbage. If you live in Ayauta or Hanzan area, please put dry cells in a designated box at the collection spot. |

| If you need to dispose large quantities of garbage when you move out of your house or clean the whole house, please carry in the garbage into "Clean Topia Marugame (refuse disposal facility plant)" directly. (charged a fee) |
| Non-Acceptable Refuse （収集できないごみ） |
Followings are non-acceptable refuse: agricultural machines, mud, sand, tiles, concrete, waste oil, tires, batteries, gas cylinders, agricultural chemicals, refuse containing toxic substance, refuse from business activities, and refuse that causes any troubles in garbage collection.

| If you do business such as opening a restaurant or business establishment, you need to ask a licensed contractor of waste management business to collect your refuse. Please do not forget to separate garbage. |
| Carcass of dogs and cats （動物の死骸） |
| If you want to ask Marugame City to collect carcass of your pet, you have to pay 400 yen per animal. In case if you carry carcass to "Clean Topia Marugame (refuse disposal facility plant)" by yourself, it is free of charge. Collecting carcass of stray dogs and stray cats by Marugame City is free of charge, too. |
| Treatment of Human Wastes （し尿） |
When you make a reservation of dipping up night soil, please be sure to prepare a bucket full of water before night-soil men comes to your house. After dipping up night soil, you will receive a payment bill. Please go to designated banks with the bill to pay the fee.
Treatment of Septic Tank （し尿処理
Septic Tank needs maintenance inspection, cleaning and legal inspection because it works as a purifying facility by microbe. If there is no care for microbe, septic tank can not function properly.

| Maintenance Inspection （保守点検） |
| Maintenance inspection of septic tank is just like a daily health control of human being. Checking devices and replenishment of disinfectant are done under this inspection. Septic tank for home use should be inspected more than three times a year. Please consign maintenance inspection to the company registered by Kagawa Prefecture. |
| Cleaning （清掃） |
| Septic tank should be cleaned more than once a year. When you want to clean the septic tank of your house, please sign up at the counter of Cleaning Section. Before you come to sign up, please be sure to check the type and size of the septic tank and bring your seal. |
| Legal Inspection （法定検査） |
Legal Inspection is just like annual medical check of human being.
※ Legal Inspection under Article 7 of the law for septic tank (contact "Kagawaken Jyokaso Center" Septic Tank Center of Kagawa Pref.)
This inspection has to be done in two months after six months past from the installment of septic tank. This inspection checks the condition of installment and its function.
※ Legal Inspection under Article 11 of the law for septic tank
This inspection is done once a year and checks if maintenance inspection and cleaning are done properly, and if septic tank discharge purified water. |
